No app needed
Chaturbate runs in your phone’s browser, with a layout made for small screens. Watching, chatting, tipping and private shows all work there, and there’s nothing to install or update.
If you’re offered an app, check who publishes it. Anything from outside your phone’s official app store, and anything promising free tokens, isn’t Chaturbate. It’s after your login or your card.
Keep it to yourself
- Use a private tab. Nothing lands in your history, and closing every private tab logs you out.
- Close the tab before you hand your phone over. The app switcher shows a snapshot of the last page you had open.
- Say no to notifications from adult sites on a phone other people pick up.
- Headphones. Obviously.
- On this site, tap Hide at the top and the page is gone in an instant.
On your home screen
Want one tap instead of typing? Add this site to your home screen: in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen; in Chrome, open the menu and tap Add to Home screen.
Switch on the plain tab first, and the icon on your home screen is a plain page of notes, not the site’s.
Data and battery
Live video eats mobile data and battery. Watch on Wi-Fi when you can, and keep a charger close for a long private show.
Cam to cam
Some performers let you turn on your own camera in a private show. On a phone, that’s your front camera: your face and whatever’s behind you. Think twice, and check the background before you switch it on.
The money side, on a phone
Tokens, tips and private shows work the same as on a computer. What tokens cost, how tipping works and what private shows cost.
